I visited this location on a Saturday night. It was moderately busy but not too crazy. I ordered a turkey sausage and pineapple deep dish pizza. I waited with the rest of my family. Everyone's order started arriving at the table. The waitress brings mine which I can see is a thin crust and tells me that they ran out of pineapple so only topped it with the turkey sausage. I'm not an unforgiving person, but the fact that they waited to tell me they were out of an ingredient I ordered until they actually brought me the pizza is a little ridiculous. I've could've ordered something else if they told me in a reasonable amount of time.

Let's start with service....there basically was none. The so called hostess/waitress looked at us without no acknowledgement, after a minute or so as she was taking dishes to the back she told us to take the third booth on the right as just walked past us! Just the start of a lackluster evening. To top it off after bringing us our pizza and it was not made as order, I asked the waitress did she tell them to only put the pineapples on half? She simply said " oh...thats what you said...I didn't know what you said" ...and walked away. Speechless! Well enough said on service and no the food didn't make the trip worth it!

Great place for a nice time on a Friday night! The pizza slices are delicious. They have $5 drink specials and Karoake in the bar area until 2 a.m. I went to this location to celebrate a friend's birthday and we had tons of fun... The only down side is for regular patrons who come on a Friday night; the music from the Karoake can be very loud for people in the general dining area...

My rating is 0 out 5 stars. Hands down the worst Beggars ever. The management (Wayne) sucks and the employees(Ashley and Asher) are incompetent. The pizza is garbage compared to other locations. I'm calling corporate early Monday morning. Stay away from the Richton Park location and drive down to Oak Forest.

I've only ordered to-go. Their pizza is the best around. It's expensive and takes a long time but it's totally worth it.

The pizza is good, not amazing, wings are pretty damn good, sandwiches and stuff are fine. I have no problem with the food or Beggar's in general. I went here last Saturday evening with my dad. The service was pretty poor - mostly just really slow, which is not excusable for a restaurant with fewer than 50% of the tables occupied. But my biggest complaint is the management. The menu says import drafts, including Sam Adams, are $3.50. We had a total of four. On the bill they were charged at $4.00 each. We brought it up to the waitress, who asked the manager, whose response was, "Sorry, we changed the prices a little while ago." What you should be sorry about is false advertising and the fact that you won't credit a customer TWO DOLLARS off a $50 bill when your dumb ass either lies or doesn't change the menu. This is not how you run a business. Dear Mr. Beggar's Manager, We went to your restaurant to TRY it, even though Chicago Dough Company and Aurelio's are both right down the street and have better pizza than you. We will not be trying your restaurant again, and I am no longer surprised it was empty on a Saturday at 7pm. Love, Alex

I'd heard about Beggars Pizza and seen their adverts w. pics over the years; the pizza always looked delicious and appeared to be exactly the way I like my pizza, therefore I came in with pretty high expectations. Went to the Richton Park locale the other day as I was rolling (wayyy) South Suburbs. First off, as for the patrons: At once you're reminded that in fact, you are in the belly of the South Side/Suburban massive. There is no mistaking it, there is no denying it, and it is suffice to say that it totally made the experience....when in Rome, etc. sorta thing. (I believe I was the only one who wasn't wearing either a) cotton sweatpants or b) a mechanics uniform. Anyway, they had a lunch buffet with three separate salad, pizza and pasta stations....at under $6, went with that. The pizza was ok and not really what I was expecting. Again, based on the pics it just didn't look the same and didn't taste as good as I'd hoped for. It wasn't bad, mind you, but was looking for more i guess. Lot's of hearty, gooey cheese, toppings (sausage was good) and the sauce was a little on the (too) sweet side. I think the crust was the issue for me, a bit too thick lacking flavor. They also had a deep dish sat out and it was pretty pedestrian as well. I can maybe equate Beggars to Home Run Inn if I had to make a comparison.

Used to be a great place. Have been there twice in the past 2 months. Once in the dining room, pizza not so good, nacho recipe way different and service horrible! Went to watch the last inning of a baseball game in the bar....service horrendous. Took forever to find the bartender to pay the bill. Not sure what happened to this place in the last year. I am not a tough customer to please...be polite, decent food, and checking in with me every now and again. Love Beggarsbut no more in Richton Park!! Used to go there frequently to watch baseball games in the bar. No more!! Linda B

We ordered a pizza for carryout. They said it would be ready in 20 minutes. It wasnt (of course). We went to pick up the pizza and the girl at the front (who rolled her eyes at us about 20 times) said it would be another 20 mins because something happened with our order. *sigh* So we wait. As we wait, we notice people dancing....... to the music someone was playing on their phone! WTF?!?! Since when is Beggars Pizza synonymous with "a great night out on the town"??? I almost died laughing just from looking at those dancing idiots. But, I digress, the pizza was average and definitely not worth the 40 minute wait or the $25 I paid. The service was horrible, and I won't be back. The only upside was that I got a REALLY good laugh.

Hands down one of the best pizza places in Chicagoland. Not only is the pie the best, but the staff is great! They, with out a doubt, aim to please the customer! If you had a problem, then most likely no one knew about it, for if they did, it would have been fixed! If you like a pizza with just some sauce and cheese, then go some where else for this pizza joint PILES it on! Pizza isn't pizza without the cheese. You don't even NEED to add extra, but I always do. Their sauce is unique. Definitely made there. It's good on it's own. The crust is almost 'buttery' in flavor and perfectly crisp. Top quality cheese you can taste. They are not stingy with the toppings either. The sausage is fresh and a meal almost on it's own. The cheeseburger pizza is to die for. I like a thin with pineapple and Canadian bacon with Teriyaki sauce! The Boscoes are big and not over cooked. (If you've never had Boscoes they are large real garlic 'bread-sticks' filled with mozzarella cheese) They even have online ordering for you techies or couch potatoes! (Or just ordering ahead) Kids were having a sleep over and of course they had to have pizza. One of the kids wanted spinach. On the online order slip, I asked them to have 'Popeye deliver' the pizza. Not only did they give the kids a nice drawing of Popeye but they were surprised to see a Ninja Turtle had snuck in too. They had to make the pizza gone to find that one out! Even if you don't think this is the 'greatest' pizza in the world (I doubt it, but just in case) the service you get makes this the best pizza joint around!
